Master vs Teacher
The background behind the coining of these concepts/words is that .

fore the students so that they can also understand intellectually.
.....while a master/guru is one who has "known" the subtlety that is behind everything i.e. in whom transcendence of all what can be intellectually known, has happened.
A teacher may not be a master, but a master is bound to be a teacher if he/she wishes to teach.
But unfortunately almost all who are literate/educated up to certain level especially teachers (they have no idea about the difference between teacher-student and master-disciple relationships) behave/talk/express in such a way as if they are Masters. But this happens because of conditioning we receive.
Going by the technological development it can safely be predicted that the time is not too far when teachers in human form will be no more required because the machines would have very well replaced them.
